The "Bader 10" volunteer opportunity saw widespread interaction from council members, students, and parents within the framework of the "Sustainable Communication" initiative, which aims to enhance community cooperation and participation in supporting educational programmes by contributing to the organisation and supervision of events after joining the volunteer opportunity.
The opportunity involved 25 volunteers who actively contributed to organising and supervising 12 educational programmes, most notably the annual ceremony honouring high school top achievers, the Community Sustainability Camp, the Motivational Academic Meeting for twelfth-grade students, the Little Paramedic Workshop, the Parents' Meeting for Bridges of Communication and the Promising Family, the Second Language Enrichment Programme, and others. These programmes enriched the volunteer experience and enhanced the quality of community-oriented activities.
The Council emphasised that the "Bader 10" experience provided an ideal platform for acquiring leadership, teamwork, and effective communication skills, while also instilling the values of giving, belonging, and social responsibility, contributing to building an integrated and sustainable educational and community environment.
As part of its efforts to spread the culture of volunteering to serve the community, the Council announced the launch of the new "Bader 11" volunteer opportunity, continuing a series of volunteer initiatives aimed at empowering community members to contribute to supporting educational and social projects and promoting the concept of sustainability in organised volunteer work.
This succession of volunteer opportunities comes within the department's vision to consolidate a culture of community participation and achieve integration among various segments of society in serving the educational and development goals of the Emirate of Sharjah.
