Sharjah Police promotes traffic safety in schools

Sharjah 24: As part of its ongoing efforts to promote traffic awareness, the Sharjah Police General Command continues its "Cross Safely" campaign through a series of educational lectures targeting school students in the Eastern and Central Regions.

Schools covered in the awareness campaign

The campaign included visits to several schools such as Al Eqd Al Fareed School and Al-Hosn Primary School in Dibba Al-Hisn, as well as Victoria International School in the Central Region.

Focus on safe road-crossing and traffic rules

The lectures aimed to teach students the fundamentals of traffic safety, the importance of obeying traffic signals and laws, and the correct ways to cross roads safely. These efforts are part of a broader goal to build a culture of traffic safety and instill responsible road behavior among students.

Strong student engagement and age-appropriate learning

The sessions saw enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged in discussions and asked questions. Information was delivered in a simplified, engaging way tailored to the students' age group, helping reinforce their understanding and awareness of traffic safety.
