Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Cultural and Sports Club, together with the Football Company, held an extensive meeting attended by all coaches and administrative staff across various sports and sectors.

Chairman highlights role of coaches

The meeting, held at the club headquarters, began with Dr Mohamed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Cultural and Sports Club, emphasising the pivotal role of coaches as the core of the club’s sporting system. He praised the technical and administrative teams for their contributions to the club’s achievements and growing reputation.

Commitment to sports regulations

Dr Al Mutawa, alongside Mohamed Ali Al Dhahouri, Head of the Club’s Cultural and Community Activities Committee, underlined the need to enhance the club’s operational framework by strictly adhering to the Sports Conduct Regulations, the primary reference for all decisions and procedures. He stressed that no action should be taken without consulting these regulations and encouraged all staff to study and follow them carefully.

Introducing awards to motivate excellence

The chairman called for the rapid entry of team and player data to resume the monthly awards system designed to encourage performance and excellence. He also announced the creation of a new “Distinguished Coach Award,” to be granted according to precise criteria ensuring fairness, promoting creativity, and recognising professional commitment.

Youth and academy focus

Mohamed Obaid Jumaa Al Marzouqi, Head of the Youth and Academy Sector at Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, outlined the roles and responsibilities of administrative and technical staff in the academy. He stressed the importance of coordination between coaches and administrators to create a professional environment that fosters talent discovery and development.

Cultural and sports initiatives

Mohammed Rashid Rashoud, member of the Cultural Committee, reviewed the club’s recent activities, including over 36 initiatives, 5 celebrations, 8 workshops and lectures, 60 summer programme activities, and 7 external participations during the 2025–2026 season. These efforts highlight the club’s vital role in promoting community-oriented cultural and sports activities and building an engaged, aware generation.

Commitment to collaborative excellence

The meeting concluded with a renewed emphasis on continued collaboration between all technical, administrative, and cultural sectors of the club and the company, ensuring the achievement of Dibba Al Hisn Club’s vision for sporting, cultural, and community excellence.
