The programme, organised over a week, saw the participation of 44 male and female students. The programme is part of its initiatives aimed at consolidating the status of the Arabic language and enhancing children's language skills.
The programme builds on the success of the first edition. The second edition featured a series of interactive storytelling programmes designed and presented by Anwar Al Salami, combining language skills with authentic Arab heritage in an engaging setting that connects students to their national identity and strengthens their cultural and linguistic belonging.
The programme included a series of practical activities, creative workshops, and an educational puppet theatre. Six storytelling workshops were presented, aiming to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills using modern methods based on experiential learning and storytelling. This created an atmosphere of interaction and enthusiasm among participants.
At the conclusion of the programme, all participating students and their parents were honoured in recognition of their active participation and continuous support for the programme's objectives. Attendees expressed their gratitude to the Council for its efforts in supporting educational and linguistic initiatives that contribute to building an aware generation that loves its language and culture.
The Council emphasised that organising these programmes falls within the framework of its vision to develop students' linguistic and cultural skills and prepare a generation committed to its language and identity. It noted that future enrichment programs will continue this approach in supporting the Arabic language and instiling its values in children.
