Al Ghusaib opened the workshop with an inspiring address, quoting His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, emphasising the leadership’s strong commitment to supporting youth and sports as essential pillars of the future and national growth. He explained that the “Sports Conduct Regulation” aims to instil discipline, encourage good behaviour, and foster a positive environment in sports fields based on mutual respect, teamwork, and integrity.
During the session, Al Ghusaib provided a thorough explanation of Article Six of the Regulation, which addresses player conduct and violations. He outlined the reward system for positive behaviour and the disciplinary procedures applied to rule infractions, all carried out with fairness and transparency. These measures aim to foster balanced, self-aware, and responsible personalities among young players, shaping them into role models both on and off the field.
The workshop ended with interactive competitions and an award ceremony, inspiring participants and highlighting the importance of following club regulations. The event had a positive educational effect, underlining the value of discipline, teamwork, and ethical conduct in sports.
Attendees commended the educational and developmental benefits of the workshop, recognising it as a significant step towards fostering a generation of mindful, value-driven athletes who take pride in representing their club and community with excellence and sportsmanship.
