The initiative's inception was marked by the "Wishing Tree" event, orchestrated in collaboration with the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation. This initiative strives to fulfill the aspirations of orphans affiliated with the foundation, aligning with the ethos of social solidarity and cohesion fostered by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
In a related context, the Sharjah Department of Public Works organised an exhibition spotlighting productive families, hosted at its central headquarters and the Dibba Al-Hisn branch, in collaboration with the Department of Social Services. This showcase featured a diverse array of uniquely crafted home products, underscoring the Department's steadfast collaboration with the Department of Social Services to provide economic, social, and developmental support to these families.
