The workshop was part of the department’s efforts to enhance the readiness of its teams to work on projects with an international nature and develop communication and management skills in environments involving teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The workshop reviewed a number of global project management models, with a focus on how to align international standards with the specific characteristics of the local environment in Kalba, enhancing the quality of implementation and improving the efficiency of cooperation between engineering teams.

The sessions addressed potential cultural challenges at work sites, such as differences in communication styles, variations in decision-making approaches and diverse professional backgrounds. They also highlighted practical solutions to ensure harmony among team members and achieve the highest levels of productivity.

Officials at the Kalba branch confirmed that the workshop comes as part of the department’s efforts to develop the capabilities of its workforce and prepare them to lead high-quality projects in line with the vision of the Sharjah Government in adopting the best global practices and promoting a flexible work environment capable of embracing the cultural diversity found in modern projects.

The workshop concluded with presentations of successful experiences from projects implemented by the department in different areas across the emirate, highlighting the key role of effective communication in ensuring quality implementation and achieving the strategic objectives of projects.
