Sharjah24: Children turned out in large numbers for the Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) of the Emirate of Sharjah's 'Engineer of the Future' workshop. Engineer Huriya Al Hajri of the Contracts Management Department is leading the workshop to inspire young minds to pursue engineering.
Participants received free copies of the Department's "Engineer of the Future" magazine. The magazine aims to introduce young readers to engineering through fun stories about the department's projects and focuses.
The magazine is published in both print and digital formats, both of which may be found on the unit's website.
During the programme, kids saw a film that explained "From the Foundation Up," the process of constructing a house.
