The second phase includes the construction of laboratories, a library, classrooms for grades 7–12, and a new sports complex as part of efforts to enhance the school's educational environment in line with international standards.
During the visit, Al Suwaidi reviewed the construction of new academic buildings, classroom expansions, upgraded science laboratories, and improvements to service infrastructure. Maintenance work on existing buildings is also underway to enhance safety and ensure long-term sustainability.
The tour also covered the development of outdoor areas, landscaped green spaces, and walkways designed to create a healthier and more attractive learning environment. Al Suwaidi inspected upgrades to student activity facilities, including multi-purpose halls and dedicated spaces for sports and arts programmes, stressing the importance of providing modern learning environments that encourage creativity and support students across all grade levels.
Engineering teams briefed Al Suwaidi on construction progress, remaining work, and project implementation plans. He praised the technical and administrative teams for maintaining the project schedule and achieving significant progress. Al Suwaidi said the Victoria International School project reflects the Sharjah Government’s vision of developing advanced educational infrastructure and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to delivering high-quality facilities that support education and provide a safe, integrated school environment.
