The session addressed a range of guiding topics that highlighted how to manage time, organise a study schedule, and overcome academic pressures. It also focused on enhancing concentration and self-confidence, ensuring a balance between study and daily life.
In this regard, Nawal Al Hamdi, Director of the Social Welfare Department, stated that the Foundation is keen to provide programmes and workshops that support fatherless students, contributing to raising their academic level and preparing them psychologically to welcome the school year with renewed energy, energy, and determination to excel and succeed. Through these sessions, the Foundation provides them with the tools to help them face academic challenges with confidence and competence.
Al Hamdi continued by saying that this cooperation comes as part of a series of joint initiatives between the two parties aimed at enhancing educational and psychological support for children without parental care, and helping them achieve excellence and success in their academic careers. The Foundation affirms that education remains at the heart of its priorities as it is the best way to enable children to achieve academic success and excellence and create a better future for them.
Al Hamdi stated that this academic guidance session is one of the programmes implemented in the “Teach with the Pen” project, which supports the educational journey of affiliated students. The project includes many support programmes, such as covering tuition fees and providing educational equipment, educational support classes, such as remedial classes, in addition to the specialised programmes that care for the gifted and talented, and others that care for students with learning difficulties.
The project aims to provide optimal educational care for students studying at the institution and affiliated with it, ensuring the development of a generation capable of achieving its ambitions and contributing effectively to serving its country.
For his part, Salah Al Hosani, Chairman of the Sharjah Teachers Association, confirmed that the Association is pleased to partner with the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation to offer this academic guidance session, which reflects its role in supporting the educational process for fatherless children and providing them with the necessary skills to start the new academic year in a positive manner. He added that empowering children at this stage represents an essential step towards building children capable of giving and excelling.
Al Hosani stated that the Teachers' Association affirms its constant commitment to supporting the educational process and enhancing the quality of academic education. From this perspective, the Association partnership with the Foundation aims to enhance the academic aspects of children."Through distinguished educational programmes and development activities aimed at honing their skills and developing their capabilities, ensuring the preparation of an educated and qualified generation to face the challenges of the future with confidence and competence.
