The total number of beneficiaries since the project's launch has reached 857, with the aim of enhancing leadership skills among young people.
"Sanad Al Bayt" is an integrated leadership project that seeks to meet the needs of fatherless children by empowering them psychologically, socially and academically, and instilling in them the spirit of giving and active participation in the family.
The project aims to prepare balanced and innovative young people capable of facing life's challenges and supporting their families and communities with love and responsibility.
Nawal Al Hamdi, Director of the Social Welfare Department, stated: “Sanad Al Bayt is not just a social and development project, but rather a platform for building a more cohesive family, highlighting the values of leadership, giving, and shared responsibility.”
She continued: "Sanad Al Bayt is distinguished by its comprehensive approach, which focuses on developing a balanced personality and building strong, resilient individuals capable of achieving a balance between self and social responsibility, in addition to promoting and instilling the values of family cooperation and integration."
"For children to be a strong support and backing for their mothers and siblings, in addition to sustainable empowerment and providing participants with leadership life skills, including critical thinking, resource management, and problem solving. In addition to instilling determination and ambition, and encouraging young people to pursue their personal and professional goals with confidence and determination."
She added: "The project includes a diverse training package targeting youth and mothers, as it includes many practical concepts such as: participatory leadership, positive thinking, crisis management, and others."
Participants' self-confidence is also enhanced and they are empowered to have a positive impact within their families and communities. It relies on clear mechanisms to measure impact, including improving family relationships, enhancing academic success, and supporting community participation. It seeks to promote a positive outlook on children's abilities and their role in building society.
Through this project, the SSEF affirms its commitment to caring for children without parental care and their families, according to a comprehensive strategy based on sustainable empowerment to prepare a distinguished and aware generation of distinguished and responsible leaders who contribute to the advancement of their country and society.
