The tour aimed to inform police staff and visitors about the objectives of the “Neighbours of the Prophet” endowment project, which supports orphans and their families through sustainable development initiatives. These include the construction of endowment buildings whose revenues fund education, healthcare, housing, and social welfare programmes for children under the Foundation’s care.
Amina Al Hashimi, the Director of Corporate Communications at SSEF, emphasised the importance of these awareness tours in spreading the message of endowment and involving various sectors in community participation. She explained that the “Neighbours of the Prophet” initiative acts as a development pillar, empowering orphans through projects that ensure educational, health, and social stability, reflecting the Foundation’s mission to build sustainable futures for coming generations.
Colonel Mohamed Ahmed Al Mahrazi, Head of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, praised SSEF’s efforts in launching the endowment project and commended its role in promoting humanitarian and social initiatives. He affirmed the police’s commitment to collaborating with community organisations to uphold the values of compassion, solidarity, and generosity across society.
SSEF continues to organise similar awareness visits across the UAE to improve community understanding of the social and developmental role of endowments, and to encourage public and institutional support for orphans and their families. Through these initiatives, the Foundation aims to strengthen the sustainability of its charitable mission and increase the impact of endowment-based social empowerment.
