The tour aimed to introduce medical staff, administrative teams, and visitors to the project's goals, which focus on creating a sustainable source of support for orphans and their families. Through charitable endowments, the initiative seeks to enhance the stability, dignity, and empowerment of fatherless children by addressing their diverse needs.
Maryam Al Khalifa, Director of Relations and Sponsor Affairs at the Foundation, highlighted the importance of this tour, calling it a “qualitative milestone”. She noted the strong interaction and support from hospital staff and the public, which reflects growing awareness about the role of endowments in supporting vulnerable groups.
Al Khalifa also emphasised that targeting healthcare facilities is part of a broader strategy involving state-wide awareness tours across government, private, and cultural institutions. These tours aim to build community partnerships and foster a culture of sustainable giving that aligns with the project’s mission of improving the quality of life for orphans.
The “Prophet’s Neighbours” endowment is a pioneering initiative that channels all its proceeds to support orphans and their families. It reflects the Foundation’s commitment to community solidarity and long-term social impact, ensuring that fatherless children grow up with dignity, security, and opportunities for a better future.
