The programme is aiming to develop the skills and capabilities of the Foundation's 17 sons and daughters in an interactive educational environment that combines knowledge with practical application. The programme came as part of the Foundation's efforts to empower its children and provide them with diverse life and practical experiences, through a series of training workshops and interactive activities that covered various fields, including: academic, artistic, and technical skills, in addition to daily life skills that enhance children's self-confidence and broaden their horizons.
The programme included the participation of a select group of experts and specialised teachers, who offered their expertise to enrich the workshop content and provide children with the opportunity to experiment with new skills and hone their talents in a stimulating and creative environment.
Nawal Al Hamdi, Director of the Social Welfare Department, said that cooperation with the Sharjah Teachers Association and SPEA reflects the foundation ongoing commitment to creating a comprehensive development environment for children.
Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation is keen to invest the summer vacation period to develop children's capabilities and hone their talents through strategic partnerships with educational and professional institutions, providing them with real opportunities for learning and growth, preparing them for a bright future.
Al Hamdi added that at the conclusion of the programme, the foundation expresses its thanks and appreciation to both the Teachers Association and SPEA for their fruitful cooperation in making the programme a success.
The foundation affirms its continued adoption of initiatives and programmes that contribute to building an aware generation capable of facing future challenges with confidence and competence.
Al Hamdi added that with the conclusion of the ‘Skills’ programme, the foundation has made a new mark in the journey of empowering children, through activities that combine learning, experience and development, affirming the continued provision of quality programmes that open wider horizons for children to excel and innovate, and support their journey towards a promising future.
On the other hand, Salah Al Hosani, Chairman of the Sharjah Teachers Association, said that the association is keen to achieve important outcomes in the “Skills” programme, which was implemented in cooperation with SPEA. It is a unique opportunity to enrich the children's skills and knowledge and develop their abilities.
He added that through the programme, the association was keen to contribute to honing students' skills, enhancing their self-confidence, and developing their talents in line with the association's aspirations, and preparing a creative and aware generation through summer educational and training activities that contributed to achieving its ultimate goal.
Al Hosani affirmed that the association is proud of this constructive cooperation with SPEA, which embodies a true partnership in serving children.
