Sharjah24: In an effort to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise among government entities, Colonel Dr. Mohammed Batti Al-Hajri, Acting Director of Media and Public Relations at Sharjah Police, received a delegation from Dubai Courts headed by Judge Dr. Said Al-Shaali. The benchmarking visit aimed to explore Sharjah Police's experience in publishing the magazines "The Police " and " The Little Policeman" and their role in conveying a security message that is aware of community issues.
From the Dubai Courts, the meeting was attended by Sultan Al-Zareem and Mohammed Abdul Rahman. Representing Sharjah Police's Media Department were Major Dhiab Bouhendi, Head of Media Affairs; Captain Ahmed Hamad Al-Hamadi, Director of the Press and Publishing Branch; Lieutenant Nada Al-Suwaidi, Acting Director of the Strategy Branch; Shaima Abdullah Al-Marzouqi, Editor-in-Chief of "The Policeman"; and the editorial board of the magazine.
The meeting reviewed the inception of "The Policeman," launched in August 1988, and "The Little Policeman," published in August 1989, outlining their goals aimed at promoting security culture, instilling positive values, and enhancing institutional partnership to serve the community and support public awareness.
The discussion also included an introduction to the editorial policy of both magazines and the media principles they rely on, as well as a review of media contributions, publication regulations, image handling, and access to both electronic and print versions of the magazines. Numerous topics were addressed to enhance the quality of media content, support awareness initiatives, and expand the scope of influence through advanced publishing methods and interactive mechanisms that ensure effective outreach to the target audience.
The Dubai Courts delegation expressed their gratitude to Sharjah Police for the warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation between security and judicial entities to develop a media system that supports and fulfills the objectives of both parties.
