Dibba Al Hisn Municipality earns National Continuity Certificate

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority (SPSA), led by Chairman Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, recognised Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality for its achievement in securing the National Standard Certification for Business Continuity Management Systems, 7000:2021 AE/SCNS/NCEMA. The National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority has awarded this certification to the municipality, which successfully met all required standards and underwent thorough evaluations and reviews.

His Excellency Taleb Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality, received the honour, accompanied by the committed team that played a crucial role in reaching this significant milestone.

The municipality has successfully completed all stages of the evaluation process, implementing a thorough strategy for business continuity to effectively address potential disruptions or crises. This strategy is designed to maintain operations and services according to best practices in the field.

Al Yahyai conveyed his appreciation to the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority along with the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority, recognising this accomplishment as a significant milestone for the municipality. He added that the success was credited to the dedicated efforts in reaching objectives that come in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah, who advocates for enhancing services to the emirate’s residents.

Al Yahyai emphasised the vital importance of Sharjah’s local emergency and crisis management team, commending their effective coordination and dedication to ensuring operational continuity along with high public health and safety standards. 

He emphasised the unique significance of this certification, which reinforces the municipality’s status as a pioneering institution committed to high-quality service for all its stakeholders.
