Sharjah Police boosts school safety and traffic

Sharjah 24: Coinciding with the start of the new academic year, the Sharjah Police General Command has reinforced its security presence since the early hours of the morning around schools and educational institutions across the emirate.

The campaign aims to achieve the highest standards of security and safety for students, parents, teaching staff, and all road users.

Traffic safety is key

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Brigadier Khalid Al Kay, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Sharjah Police, said that the Police, in the presence of Major General Abdullah bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police General Command, launched a traffic campaign under the slogan 'Our First Lesson is Traffic Safety.' This campaign is part of Sharjah Police proactive security and traffic plans and strategy aimed at achieving the highest levels of security and safety for the educational community.

The Director of the department also called on parents and road users to adhere to traffic regulations to ensure their own safety and that of students, wishing everyone a successful academic year.
