Sharjah24: As the 2025–2026 academic year begins, Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, extended warm congratulations to teachers, students and parents. He expressed delight at the return of children to their schools, describing them as not only centres of learning but also “a second home” that nurtures values, complements education and shapes character.
Security and community partnership
Bin Amer underlined that Sharjah Police continue to prioritise the safety of the educational environment through preventive measures and security systems that protect students, teachers and parents both inside and around schools. He stressed that preparations for the new academic year extend beyond traffic management and field presence to include community partnerships and awareness programmes designed to promote positive behaviour and responsibility, creating a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
Values and shared responsibility
He also reminded students that discipline, good conduct and respect for order are not only school duties but also national values. Addressing parents, he acknowledged their cooperation and emphasised the importance of their partnership with the police in shaping the younger generation.
Bin Amer concluded by wishing the new school year to be filled with success and prayed for the safety and wellbeing of all students, as well as continued security and stability for the nation under the wise leadership.
