SSC discusses new season operations with SP support

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) received at its headquarters a delegation from the Sharjah Police (SP) and coordinators of the Emirate’s clubs participating in the ADNOC Pro League—Sharjah, Al Batayeh, Kalba, and Khorfakkan. A joint meeting was held to discuss preparations and operations for the new sports season at all levels, with particular focus on fan attendance.

The chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, welcomed the police delegation and lauded the Sharjah Police for their important work: protecting clubs, keeping stadiums safe during activities, and encouraging good behaviour among fans.

The meeting also reviewed the club's stadium logistics, operational procedures, crowd management, and infrastructural readiness. Discussions included match-day traffic flow, stadium access for fans, safety instructions, and environmental issues to guarantee a safe and pleasant environment.

Attendees further explored ways to enhance joint cooperation, raise fan awareness, and promote positive messaging and model support that reflects Islamic values, ensuring that matches are held in an orderly and uplifting environment.

In conclusion, attendees commended SSC’s leading role in working with Sharjah Police and clubs to unify efforts, strengthen adherence to regulations, and deliver an outstanding sporting season.
