Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police General Command, in cooperation with the Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR), launched a series of “Knowledge Transfer” workshops; with the aim of transferring knowledge and skills and presenting the experiences of talented employees of the Sharjah Government and Sharjah Police in various talent fields. The workshops will continue until the beginning of next November.
These workshops are part of the agenda of the Sharjah Police’s third annual Talent Forum, scheduled to be held in November 2024. The workshops cover several fields, including: drone technologies, uses of artificial intelligence in content creation, photography basics, graphic design, 3D design and printing, virtual reality content creation (metaverse), sign language basics, and cyber awareness.
His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, Acting Director General of Resources and Support Services, said: “Knowledge transfer is one of the most important tools that support the continuity of development and the advancement of institutional performance. It contributes to enhancing efficiency and creativity among employees, and promotes readiness to deal with future challenges and implement best practices.”
He praised the role of the Human Resources Department and its awareness of the importance of these institutional partnerships that contribute to the creation of government institutions that are full of talents and distinguished cognitive skills; in a way that serves the desired goals of achieving sustainable development in the Government of Sharjah.
For his part, His Excellency Majid Hamad Al Marri, Director of the Human Resources Department, said: “Based on the belief of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, that supporting and nurturing talents is the cornerstone of the institutional and societal development process, the Human Resources Department seeks to strengthen partnerships to support talents and provide a dynamic training environment that encourages innovation and exchange of experiences; which contributes to developing their creative and artistic skills and enhances their ability to contribute to driving the wheel of institutional development.”
Al Marri added that this cooperation with Sharjah Police in organising the “Knowledge Transfer” workshops comes within the strategic cooperation between the two sides, with the aim of supporting competencies and refining the talents of Sharjah government employees and Sharjah Police employees; in a way that enhances creativity and excellence in the fields of government work, and contributes to achieving the Emirate’s vision towards leadership and sustainable excellence.
