During the exhibition, the Institute presented a series of interactive workshops targeting school students and visitors, most notably a “Sifafa” (palm-frond weaving) workshop, which introduced participants to this traditional craft and its intricate hand techniques. The activity highlighted the precision and creativity of Emirati craftswomen and their skill in using locally sourced materials.
The Institute’s participation also included heritage tours within the museum, where students explored exhibits showcasing the history of falconry and its deep significance in Emirati culture, along with artefacts depicting aspects of traditional life. The engaging educational environment aimed to enhance national identity awareness and connect the younger generation with their cultural roots.
