Sharjah24 : The Parents' Council of Dibba Al-Hisn, affiliated with the Districts Affairs Department, organised its second field trip to Al-Khalidiya School (Cycle Three Boys) in the Eastern Region on the occasion of the start of the 2024-2025 academic year. The delegation was led by His Excellency Mohammed Rashid Rashoud Al-Hammoudi, Chairman of the Council, and His Excellency Saud Tamim Al-Riyami, Vice Chairman, alongside other council members and staff.
During the visit, attendees discussed several proposals to strengthen collaboration between the school and the council, including the introduction of new educational programmes aimed at enhancing the roles of parents through the initiative "With Values, Nations Rise." Additionally, the proposal to implement a programme to develop students' leadership skills, involving parents and featuring student debates, was discussed, alongside joint efforts to organise an educational forum for the city’s schools.
The meeting also addressed intensifying guidance and awareness programmes for parents, promoting positive behaviours among students through competitions and educational programmes run by the council. The council also assessed the satisfaction of participants with last year's initiatives, such as the motivational programme for 12th-grade students and the General Secondary Certificate Awards Ceremony.
At the end of the visit, the council expressed gratitude to the administrative and teaching staff for their warm reception and cooperation, reaffirming the commitment to continued collaboration for the benefit of the students.
