The event targeted students and their parents to enhance motivation for learning and strengthen preparedness for final examinations, in line with the council’s mission to empower students to achieve the highest levels of performance and excellence.
The gathering drew strong participation from parents and students, with a total of 116 attendees, alongside members of the administrative and teaching staff. This reflected growing awareness of the importance of collaboration between families and educational institutions in supporting students and enabling their success.
The event opened with a welcome address from the school principal, Dr Omar Suleiman Al Adhab, who expressed his appreciation for the council’s role in implementing quality initiatives that support students. He stressed that academic success begins with effective planning and the productive use of time.
He highlighted the importance of organising study schedules, setting priorities and preparing early for examinations, noting that these practices significantly improve academic achievement and help attain the desired results.
His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Parents Council, emphasised the importance of religious and moral values in shaping students’ personalities and strengthening their self-confidence.
He explained that excellence is not solely linked to academic attainment but is also grounded in a system of positive values that foster perseverance, discipline and responsibility. He urged students to make the most of their abilities and potential with optimism and determination, and to approach examinations with confidence and resolve to achieve the best possible outcomes.
As part of efforts to enhance students’ psychological wellbeing, members of the Educational Committee and the Activities and Events Committee helped to launch the “Your Words Are Safety” initiative.
Motivational cards bearing positive and encouraging messages were distributed to students to boost morale and reinforce reassurance and confidence in their abilities during the examination period.
His Excellency Mohammed Saif Al Dhahouri, Vice-Chairman of the Council, emphasised that the family remains the primary partner in a child’s journey towards success.
He emphasised the importance of providing emotional support during examinations, fostering a positive, encouraging home environment, and promoting a language of motivation and confidence, free from pressures that may affect students’ academic performance or psychological wellbeing.
