Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police (SP) Headquarters has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Guard Command, demonstrating both parties' commitment to strategic cooperation and security preparation at all levels.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, the commander-in-chief of Sharjah Police, and Major General Hamdan Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the commander of the National Guard, signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of directors general and other officials from both sides.
The agreement intends to improve mutual cooperation in the security industry while adhering to the highest quality, leadership, and excellence standards. It also entails supporting future security missions, leveraging and developing artificial intelligence technologies, exchanging expertise, knowledge, and research in a variety of fields, and holding regular meetings and discussions to improve security preparedness in all areas relevant to both parties.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi reaffirmed Sharjah Police's commitment to strengthening alliances and expanding cooperation with various national institutions to achieve strategic goals and align with the leadership's vision of positioning the UAE as a leading nation. He welcomed this significant move toward unifying national efforts and strengthening the entire security system, which, in turn, improves the community's security life.
Major General Hamdan Ahmed Al Zeyoudi praised the positive partnership with Sharjah Police Headquarters, emphasising the necessity of complementing responsibilities in reaching the highest levels of security preparation and swiftly addressing any future difficulties.
