Sharjah 24: A delegation from Dibba Al Hisn City Council, affiliated with Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD), conducted field visits to the homes of several families from the city who had recently returned from performing Hajj. The visits were to congratulate them on completing the pilgrimage, a blessed community and humanitarian gesture reflecting the deep bonds of brotherhood and social cohesion.

This annual initiative underscores the pivotal role played by suburban councils in sharing in the social occasions of citizens. It is an extension of the council's ongoing efforts to strengthen direct communication with residents and is being implemented for the third consecutive year, reinforcing a deeply rooted community tradition that is highly valued by the city's inhabitants.

The visiting delegation included Dr Salah Obaid Al-Ghul, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn City Council, and Mohammed Hassan Al-Hamoudi, Vice Chairman of the Council, along with other distinguished council members.

Serving the community and sharing in their daily lives and celebrations

The delegation made a point of visiting several families in Dibba Al-Hisn who had been blessed to perform Hajj this year. The visits aimed to check on their well-being and safe return, and to exchange friendly conversation.

At the conclusion of the visits, Dr Salah Obaid Al-Ghul emphasised that the council prioritises serving the community and sharing in their daily lives and celebrations, in line with the directives of the wise leadership and SDAD vision. He noted that the continuation of this initiative for the third consecutive year is a testament to its success in strengthening the values of compassion and innate affection among the people of the UAE. He prayed to God Almighty to accept the Hajj and acts of worship of all the pilgrims and to perpetuate the blessings of security, safety, and stability upon the UAE.
