Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) is organising the third edition of Al Hefaiyah Padel Tennis Championship on September 13 and 14 at the Padel Shot courts in Kalba.
The championship will be held with the participation of 64 amateur and beginner players representing 32 teams.

Cash prizes have been allocated to the winners, amounting to 7,000 dirhams for the first-place team, 5,000 dirhams for the second-place team, and 3,000 dirhams for the third-place team.
Dr. Yasser Omar Al Dokhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department, stated that padel tennis has become very popular and attracts young people, and therefore the Sharjah Sports Council is keen to continue and develop this championship.
He said that the organisational arrangements will ensure the presentation of a distinctive edition in all aspects, and he confirmed that the sport will be present at the level of upcoming sporting events to further encourage its spread, organise its championships and provide everything necessary for its success.
