The workshop was presented by lecturer Saeed Musbah Al Suwaidi, who introduced participants to the concept of evacuation, its importance, and the procedures to follow in emergency situations. He emphasised the importance of adhering to instructions and remaining calm and responsible in all circumstances.

Practical exercise

The workshop included a practical field exercise on the proper use of fire extinguishers, as well as a simulated evacuation drill, all within an interactive and educational environment.

Ayman Al Amriyeen, Executive Director of Al Hamriyah Club, confirmed that organising this workshop comes within the framework of the club’s keenness to develop awareness among the members of “A Holiday Reimagined” in order to preserve their safety and the safety of those around them, praising the cooperation of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority and its active role in spreading the culture of security and safety among members of society.
