The workshop introduced the basic concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning using the Teachable Machine platform, allowing participants to design and train AI models in a user-friendly manner without the need for advanced programming skills.

The workshop featured practical activities that allowed participants to create prototypes for image recognition, explore stages of data collection, train the model, assess performance, and evaluate results. It also reviewed several applications of AI in the education and innovation domains, which enhance their understanding of how intelligent systems learn from data, foster analytical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills, and transform concepts into technical solutions.

Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, stressed the municipality’s commitment to providing qualitative programs that introduce children to the latest technologies and artificial intelligence, to prepare them for the future and keep pace with the digital transformation in the UAE.
