Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) organised a football match as part of their employee happiness initiatives, in celebration of International Youth Day. The match featured two teams composed of 22 employees from the department. The event was designed to support the department's strategic goals, which prioritise developing programs that enhance employee well-being.
Appreciating the significant impact of sports on promoting determination and productivity, the department arranged this match to assist employees in reducing stress, and fostering positive morale in the workplace.
Commenting on this, Imran Ali, a Senior Event Executive from the Public Relations Department, expressed his enthusiasm for such events, which bring happiness to employees, encouraging active participation in the department's initiatives.
He also emphasised that the match not only addressed the employees' physical well-being but also encouraged their creativity and innovation. According to Ali, the event fostered a sense of unity and teamwork.
