The initiative is part of a series of summer programmes carried out by the department to support workers at field sites and reaffirm its humanitarian role in providing a safe and healthy working environment during the summer, when temperatures rise significantly.

Imran Ali from the department’s Public Relations Section said the initiative reflects SDPW's commitment to the community and its role in supporting humanitarian initiatives that contribute to improving quality of life and easing the burden on workers.
