Head of Public Relations at the Corporate Communication Centre, Amal Al Ali has confirmed that the event is part of the Centre's Year of Tolerance programmes, stressing the necessity of fostering tolerance as a core value in human civilisation for the sake of future generations.
She said that even though religions are different, they all have moral rules and good intentions for everyone. Because of this, she said, the solution lies in the reconciliation, education, and cultural exchange that our real religion told us to do.
She said, "The United Arab Emirates is a modern model of tolerance, where everyone coexists with equal rights and justice; tolerance is a human duty for everybody, since it is one of the noblest virtues that characterise a person."
The late founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed, may God rest his soul in peace, instilled in all parts of UAE society the virtues of tolerance and love necessary for peaceful coexistence, making the country a global example.
