Strong performance in a competitive championship
The championship brought together 280 swimmers—256 males and 24 females—from 10 clubs across the UAE, making it one of the country's leading age-group swimming competitions dedicated to developing young talent and enhancing competitive skills.
Mleiha Club's swimmers delivered an impressive performance, winning a total of 10 medals, including five gold, four silver, and one bronze. The achievement reflects the team's strong preparation and the club's continued investment in developing promising athletes across different age categories.
Medal winners shine for Mleiha
Among the standout performers, Ahmed Hatem and Adam Taha each claimed two gold medals, while Taha Baqdidi secured one gold and one silver medal. Sakhr Ali earned two silver medals, while Ahmed Zain Al-Din won one silver and one bronze medal.
The result adds to a series of successes achieved by Mleiha Club during the 2025–2026 sports season, underscoring its growing presence in individual sports and its commitment to nurturing future champions.

Salem Rashid Al-Ketbi, Secretary General of Mleiha Club, praised the swimmers' achievements, describing them as the outcome of sustained effort, discipline, and dedication throughout the season. He also commended the work of the technical and administrative teams and highlighted the continuous support of the club's board of directors in developing individual sports and identifying emerging talent.
Al-Ketbi emphasised that the club remains committed to expanding participation in individual sports and providing an environment that enables athletes to reach their full potential, contributing to the development of national talents capable of representing the UAE in regional and international competitions.
