UAEMPF honours Mleiha Club champions

Sharjah24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club took part in the closing ceremony of the 2025-2026 sports season, organised by the UAE Modern Pentathlon Federation (UAEMPF). The ceremony was attended by Her Excellency Dr Huda Abdulrahman Al Matroushi, President of the Federation, together with several board members and representatives from sports clubs across the UAE.

Outstanding results

The ceremony honoured a select group of Mleiha Club athletes who achieved outstanding results in biathlon, triathlon, and laser run competitions during the season. This recognition was given in appreciation of their impressive performances and contributions to raising the club's profile on various podiums, in a season filled with achievements and successes in individual sports.

Developing sporting talent

Mansour Rashid Balajid Al Ketbi, Executive Director of Mleiha Club, affirmed that this recognition marks the culmination of the efforts of the players, technical staff, and administrative personnel throughout the season. He stated that it reflects the significant work undertaken to achieve these outstanding results, noting that Mleiha Club continues to invest in developing sporting talent and honing their skills, thereby strengthening the club's presence in various championships.

Working to achieving greater successes and accomplishments

Al Ketbi added that the achievements of the club's athletes during the 2025-2026 sports season were the result of ongoing support from the club's board of directors and fruitful cooperation with the UAE Modern Pentathlon Federation. He emphasised that the club looks forward to achieving even greater success in the coming seasons.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, commemorative photos were taken of the honourees in a celebratory atmosphere that reflected the scale of achievements attained by modern pentathlon in the UAE during the past sports season, and in appreciation of the efforts made by the players and clubs in supporting the sport's progress and development.
