The championship, held on 6 and 7 June, brought the 2025–26 taekwondo season to a close and attracted competitors from clubs across the country.
Mleiha’s medal winners battled their way through a series of knockout rounds to take their place on the podium, displaying composure and determination throughout the competition.
Recognition for continued development
Abdullah Salem Khasouni Al Ketbi, Vice-Chairman of Mleiha Club, praised the athletes for their achievement and said the result reflected the steady work being carried out by the club's technical and administrative teams.
He said the club remained committed to developing individual sports and supporting young talent, adding that the latest success was the product of sustained preparation and investment in athlete development.
Al Ketbi said he was confident that Mleiha’s athletes would continue to build on their progress and represent the club strongly in future competitions.
Mleiha Club secured two bronze medals in the UAE Taekwondo Federation Cup after strong performances from its youth athletes in the season-ending championship held earlier this month.
