Sharjah 24: As part of its regular meetings, the organising committee for the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme 2026 “A Holiday Reimagined" at Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club continued its preparatory meetings.

The meetings were chaired by Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, Board Member and Head of the Summer Activities Organising Committee, and attended by Abdul Rahman Muhair Al Ketbi, Board Member and Head of the Media and Corporate Communications Committee, Mansour Rashid Al Ketbi, Executive Director of the Club and General Supervisor of the Summer Activities, along with members of the working committees and the team. The meetings were held in preparation for the programme's launch from July 6 to 30.

Enhancing integration among various work teams

The organisational structure for the Sharjah Summer Sports Programme 2026 “A Holiday Reimagined” was approved, along with the formation of the working committees and their responsibilities. This aims to enhance integration among the various work teams and improve organisational performance during the programme's implementation.

The meeting also discussed the distribution of tasks and responsibilities among the various committees and the adoption of administrative decisions regulating workflow, ensuring clear roles and the highest levels of coordination and cooperation among all committees.

Outstanding edition of Sharjah Summer Sports activities

During the meeting, the team reviewed each committee's implementation plans and the mechanisms for executing events, workshops, and field visits. They also discussed organisational, administrative, media, and logistical aspects, and ensured the readiness of sites, facilities, and supervising personnel to guarantee a comprehensive summer programme that achieves its objectives.

The meeting also addressed coordination and follow-up mechanisms among the different committees and established frameworks for monitoring progress and evaluating performance periodically. This will contribute to achieving the desired goals and delivering an outstanding edition of Sharjah's Summer Sports activities this year.

Serving youth and the community

Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi emphasised that the organising committee is committed to finalising all organisational and administrative preparations before the programme's launch. He noted that the adoption of the organisational structure and the distribution of tasks are part of strengthening institutional work and reinforcing the principle of teamwork.

Al Ketbi said: “We are working according to an integrated plan aimed at achieving the highest levels of readiness before the program begins, through the integration of roles between the various committees, which contributes to providing a distinguished summer experience for the participants, and reflects the vision of the Mleiha Club in providing quality programmes that serve the youth and the community.”
