Sharjah Public Works celebrates Flag Day

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Public Works Department, along with its branches in the Central and Eastern Regions, celebrated Flag Day, joining the Emirati people in honoring their nation and leadership. This event highlighted their deep sense of loyalty and pride in their country.

Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, who is part of the Executive Council and heads the Sharjah Department of Public Works, emphasized that the celebration reflects strong feelings of loyalty and belonging to the nation and its leaders. He noted that the flag is a powerful symbol of national unity and represents the affection and commitment that people have for their homeland.

The celebrations included a variety of events and the distribution of thoughtful gifts to employees, reaching out to all members of the community. Mariam Al Mazmi, Director of the Corporate Communications Center, mentioned that Flag Day is a reminder of the leadership’s dedication to preserving national achievements and ensuring a safe and prosperous environment for everyone.
