SDPW hosts virtual session to enhance leadership skills

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) hosted a free virtual session organised by Edutech for Consultancy and Training, as part of the Department’s efforts to keep pace with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to strengthen leadership skills and institutional awareness.

This initiative responds to the need for work teams to develop their capabilities in managing digital transformation and applying best institutional practices.

From intelligence to integrity

The session, held under the title “From Intelligence to Integrity: Leadership, Ethics, and Data Protection”, featured a distinguished group of international consultants specialising in corporate leadership, ethics, and information protection. Delivered in both Arabic and English, the event was conducted remotely to ensure wider participation from employees.

Promoting values and protecting data

The initiative aims to enhance leadership skills among Public Works Department employees and to embed values of integrity and ethics in the workplace. It also seeks to build comprehensive awareness of the importance of protecting government data in the context of digital transformation.

Sharing global expertise locally

In addition, the session is designed to transfer global expertise and best practices to the local field in order to support the Department’s strategic plans.
