Al Kharous Council discusses community initiatives

Sharjah 24: Al Kharous Suburb Council, affiliated with the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD), held its 19th regular meeting of the year at its headquarters in Al Dhaid. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Jumaa Al Mughni Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Council, and attended by Council members.

Follow-up

At the beginning of the meeting, held yesterday evening in Al Dhaid, recommendations from the previous meeting and the implementation of those recommendations were reviewed in cooperation with relevant authorities. The Council Chairman emphasised the importance of continuous follow-up on the outcomes of previous meetings to ensure a positive impact on community service.

The meeting also addressed letters received by the Council from residents and institutions, including the suggestions and comments they contain that contribute to the development of public facilities and improving the quality of life in the area.

Yalsatna

The Council also discussed the "Yalsatna" initiative, which aims to strengthen social cohesion among the residents of the suburb through open meetings and constructive community dialogues, in addition to the residents' visit program.

The attendees also reviewed the work of the Council's various committees and their efforts to implement community initiatives and programs that foster a spirit of cooperation between residents and institutions.

The 54th Eid Al Etihad

The meeting addressed the ongoing preparations for the celebration of the 54th Eid Al Etihad. Coordination is underway to organise community programmes befitting this precious national occasion, with broad participation from residents and supporting entities.
