The event was held at Al Dhaid Wildlife Museum Theatre, in the presence of Dr Abdullah Sulaiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Department, and Rashid Al Mahyan Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Central Region Parents Council, along with a number of officials, parents and community figures.
The ceremony honoured 35 male and female students, along with their families, from various schools across the Central Region of Sharjah, in recognition of their academic excellence and significant efforts in achieving outstanding results throughout the academic year.
Speaking on the occasion, Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Central Region Parents Council, expressed his pride in celebrating a distinguished group of high-achieving students and their exemplary families during the current academic year.
He said the council operates in accordance with the wise guidance and generous support of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness the Crown Prince of Sharjah, who place great emphasis on science and education across the emirate, from the early childhood stage through to university education.
Al Mahyan added that the occasion represented the culmination of a period of hard work and perseverance, as well as the result of a collective effort involving teachers, students, parents and families as a whole.
He described the honouring ceremony as the annual outcome of a year marked by dedication and success, wishing the students continued excellence in their future journeys.
He also extended, on behalf of the council and attendees, his highest appreciation and gratitude to the Districts Affairs Department for its significant and ongoing role in supporting the council, strengthening its efforts and backing its various initiatives. He noted that this support represents a key pillar in the success of the council’s work and in achieving its goals of serving the educational and community framework in the region.
The ceremony programme included a video presentation highlighting the council’s key achievements and milestones, as well as its active role in building continuous communication channels between families and schools to strengthen effective partnerships in achieving shared educational goals.
The event also featured a speech delivered on behalf of the honoured students, expressing their gratitude and appreciation to their parents, teaching staff and administrative teams for their support and encouragement.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, outstanding students were honoured and presented with certificates of appreciation and awards. The event concluded with commemorative photographs capturing moments of pride and joy with the students and their families.
