7 innovative shows at Sharjah Children’s Theatre Day

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Children, part of the Rubu' Qarn organization that focuses on nurturing future leaders, recently held a special event called "Children's Theatre Day" at the Al Qarayen Children's Center. This year's theme, "Theatrical Return," highlighted the wonderful achievements of the Imagination and Creativity Camp 2025. Many children and their parents came to celebrate the hard work that the kids had put in during weeks of training in theater and performance arts.

Eighty-one children, both boys and girls from Sharjah Children and Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, showcased seven exciting theatrical performances. These included puppet shows, mime acts, and creative movement presentations. The stories ranged from fun and imaginative tales to those that celebrated Emirati culture and shared important messages about tolerance, understanding differences, and the significance of belonging.

The event wrapped up with an open discussion where the audience could share their thoughts about the shows. The children were also honored for their impressive talents and efforts. The atmosphere was lively and festive, reflecting how much the audience appreciated the creativity that the young performers displayed.
