The works on show draw on Emirati heritage, the emirate's landmarks and the local environment, reflecting how the young artists see the world around them.
Speaking to Sharjah24, Turki said the exhibition brings together a striking mix of materials and styles: wooden pieces sit alongside paintings that experiment with different drawing and colouring techniques, while a set of group works made entirely from recycled materials rounds out the collection. She said the recycled pieces in particular help instil ideas around teamwork, sustainability and creative thinking among the children involved.
Turki added that the exhibition was designed to put the skills and talents of members at Sharjah Children's centres on public display, giving visitors a chance to see the breadth of what the children have created. She said the foundation remains committed to backing young talent and helping members grow their abilities across different creative fields.
