The programme offers a distinctive developmental experience designed to strengthen participants’ technical expertise while enhancing their personal and leadership skills.
‘Nawah’ reflects the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Science and Technology’s vision of equipping young people with the skills needed for the future by fostering scientific curiosity, innovation and leadership. It also reinforces Sharjah’s position as a hub for scientific talent and a supporter of young people capable of transforming ideas into solutions and challenges into opportunities that benefit society.
The programme extends beyond academic learning by offering an immersive practical experience. Participants will attend inspiring sessions with leading experts, entrepreneurs and specialists, take part in field visits to prominent organisations and companies, and engage in discussions with members of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation who have successfully turned their passion for science and technology into rewarding careers and notable achievements. These experiences provide valuable insight into future opportunities and the skills they demand.
The programme begins with a special opening event, ‘Nawah Spark’, where participants will tackle a series of scientific and engineering challenges incorporating virtual reality, robotics and teamwork. The experience is designed to launch the programme in a spirit of exploration, creativity and innovation.
The programme includes 20 interactive workshops, activities and field visits, delivered in collaboration with the Sharjah Maritime Academy, the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, DP World, and the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa).
Participants will explore a wide range of future-oriented fields, including ambitious thinking and entrepreneurial mindset development, innovative design, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence applications, robotics and data science, agricultural technology and food security, maritime navigation and engineering, and smart transformation in the logistics sector.
The programme concludes with the ‘Future Solutions’ Hackathon, where participants will develop technology-driven projects addressing real-world challenges through forward-looking and innovative solutions.
