Sharjah 24: The Rubu' Qarn program for Future Leaders and Innovators has wrapped up its fun and educational tourism initiative called "Hal wa Tarhal." Over the course of three virtual trips, 192 young people from Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, and Sajaya Young Ladies explored the rich cultures and attractions of Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Brazil.

These virtual trips were held at three locations: the Mleiha Youth Centre for Sharjah Youth, the Halwan Child Centre for Sharjah Children, and the Italiere Restaurant in Muwailih, Sharjah for Sajaya members. The program aims to inspire participants to read more and discover the joys of travel while igniting their curiosity about different cultures around the world.

In a lively and encouraging setting, the young participants engaged in various hands-on activities. They shared books and stories, which helped them learn about the traditions and experiences of people from Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Brazil. They also got to try their hand at cooking famous traditional dishes from each country.

Additionally, the participants created beautiful artwork inspired by the cultural crafts of these nations. They explored Saudi weaving, crafted vibrant models of Brazil’s scarlet macaw, and designed business cards that reflect important aspects of Italian history. Overall, the program was a great way to broaden their horizons and celebrate diverse cultures through creative expression.
