Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Parents Council, affiliated with the Sharjah Distrcts Affairs Department (SDAD), in cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC), organised an awareness lecture entitled "Work Wellness: The Key to Productivity and Success."

This lecture reflects the Council's commitment to implementing its operational plan and promoting a culture of work awareness.

This initiative, which took place on Tuesday, stems from the Council's belief in the importance of building a balanced work environment that contributes to improving the quality of professional life and enhancing levels of satisfaction and productivity among employees across various sectors.

 

The hall of the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah hosted the event that saw a remarkable turnout, led by Muhannad Al Bustani, Chairman of the Council, and a number of Council members, along with government employees and representatives of local community institutions.

 

The lecture was delivered by Captain Salem Mohammed Bin Ashour, who presented several topics, including defining the concept of job well-being and its types, ways to achieve a balance between work and personal life, and presenting Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs as a fundamental concept for understanding individual priorities and achieving psychological and professional satisfaction.

 

Keys to success

 

Bin Ashour also addressed the keys to success in the workplace, mechanisms for promoting positive thinking, increasing productivity, and the impact of this on the sustainability of institutional performance.

 

The lecture included rich contributions from the audience, expressing their growing awareness of the importance of job well-being and its role in stimulating creativity and supporting healthy work environments, which positively impacts the performance of institutions and society alike.

 

Appreciation

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Sharjah Parents Council expressed its deep thanks and appreciation to Captain Salem Mohammed Bin Ashour for the high-level knowledge he provided and for his distinguished professional approach, which contributed to consolidating the concepts of positive work.

 

The Council also thanked His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of SPGC, for his generous support and constructive cooperation in making this unique event a success. It also expressed its gratitude for the ongoing partnership with SPGC in organising awareness and community initiatives.
