The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Humaid Mohammed Al Amrani Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Council, and attended by a number of residents of the suburb.
The meeting, held on Tuesday at the Council's headquarters in Sharjah City, is the first of the council's activities and is in line with its efforts to organise a series of sessions organised by councils across the Emirate.
The meeting affirms the department's approach to listening to citizens' voices and achieving effective and direct communication with them, contributing to improving quality of life and strengthening community cohesion.
The "Yalsatna" initiative is an extension of the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD) directives aimed at building a cohesive community based on dialogue and active participation. It contributes to identifying priorities and formulating future visions that meet residents' aspirations.
During the meeting, a range of topics of interest to residents were discussed, including the area's service needs and observations. Several ideas and suggestions were also presented by residents aimed at developing the suburb's community environment.
