Sharjah's vision for family and community development

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Rashid Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Parents Council of the Central Region, affiliated with the Department of Suburbs Affairs, affirmed that the launch of the Sharjah Family and Community Council and its new affiliated institutions reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, to make the family the focus of development and the foundation of comprehensive renaissance.

Integrated platform unifying efforts and coordinating roles

Al Mahyan said that the council constitutes an integrated platform for unifying efforts and coordinating roles among various institutions that serve the family, contributing to the development of individual capabilities, protecting values, and consolidating national identity.

The three Emiri decrees establishing the Child Safety, Sharjah Family Development, and the Sharjah Hospitality Group confirm that Sharjah is making steady progress toward building a cohesive and creative society capable of keeping pace with the changes of the times while preserving its authenticity.

Strengthening communication between home and school

Al Mahyan added that the Parents' Councils see this step as a direct support in strengthening communication between home and school, and creating an integrated educational and pedagogical environment where students are surrounded by comprehensive care, from education to culture, sports, and health. This wise vision makes all partners in shaping a brighter future for the nation's sons and daughters.
