Al Dhaid Youth Centre has introduced 55 unique programmes and activities amidst a vibrant atmosphere. These activities are part of the Sharjah Youth "Let’s Summer" activities during the summer vacation, which continues until the end of August 2025. These activities provide Al Dhaid Youth members with the opportunity to develop their skills and hone their abilities, creating creative stations that empower their talents and creativity to achieve excellence.
Art workshops
Al Dhaid Youth Centre members learned about the art of resin and its various stages, including how to add resin in specific proportions and mix it with other materials for use in creating handcrafted artwork. The youth demonstrated their skill in employing this artistic technique to produce creative works of aesthetic value, and used it in home and office décor. Other creative workshops included glass painting and thread painting.
Instilling sportsmanship and fair play among members
In the sports track, the Centre's members applied their acquired skills in the water polo championship, which witnessed positive competition and remarkable interaction, resulting in the Falcons team winning 8/7. They participated in various beach adventures held in cooperation with the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club. They also enjoyed self-defense sports, where they learned the basics of karate, one of the most important self-defense sports characterised by high morals. This is part of the Centre's commitment to instilling high sportsmanship and fair play among its members.
Security and Safety
To enhance participants' awareness of safety procedures, the Al Dhaid Youth Centre hosted an interactive programme, held in cooperation with the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, titled "Security and Safety." Participants learned about safety requirements and how to use a fire extinguisher, as well as the equipment available in fire trucks and the skills required to use them.
Museums on the Road
The Al Dhaid Youth Summer Camp included inspiring community partnerships that accompanied participants on a journey of fun and knowledge. The Sharjah Museums Authority opened the doors to an exceptional world of knowledge with the "Museums on the Road" initiative, aiming to disseminate knowledge and science and introduce human heritage in all fields. The Natural History and Botanical Museum presented a traveling exhibition titled "Get to Know the Museum," featuring models and nature-themed workshops. The programme also featured a maritime medallion workshop in cooperation with the Sharjah Maritime Museum, a pottery restoration workshop in cooperation with the Sharjah Archaeology Museum, and a paper art workshop in cooperation with the Sharjah Calligraphy Museum.

In cooperation with the Sharjah Volunteer Work Centre, members participated in the Birds of Mercy Initiative, aiming to instil a spirit of giving among members. Al Dhaid Public Library hosted members with a wealth of cultural workshops. The Sharjah Police General Command Community Police provided members with a unique experience with a patrol tour, gaining knowledge that reinforces the values of belonging and loyalty and opens up future prospects.
