The opening was attended by Waleed Abdul Rahman Bukhatir, Second Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Mohammed Musabah Al Tunaiji, Director of the Chamber’s Al Dhaid branch and Director of Expo Al Dhaid, Sultan Shattaf, Commercial Director of Expo Centre Sharjah, and a number of government officials.
Following the inauguration, attendees toured the exhibition, visiting pavilions and platforms to view the latest products and services in horse, camel and falcon care, as well as equipment and tools related to equestrianism, falconry and camel racing.

Organisers emphasised that Al Asayel reflects the Chamber’s commitment to supporting specialised events that combine heritage with innovation, promoting both economic and social goals. The exhibition highlights Sharjah’s traditions, strengthens its tourism sector, and supports popular Emirati sports such as falconry, camel racing and equestrianism, while also creating opportunities for local companies and entrepreneurs.

This year’s edition features expanded participation, with live shows, interactive workshops and auctions, attracting a wide audience of enthusiasts and professionals.

The exhibition also celebrates the UAE’s rich cultural heritage, strengthens Sharjah’s position as a hub for hunting and equestrian sports, and provides opportunities for building new business partnerships and supporting owners of horses, camels and falcons.
First-day highlights
The opening day saw strong attendance from visitors who enjoyed the heritage atmosphere, entertainment activities, and the latest products for horse and camel care, falconry equipment, stables, transport vehicles, and rare breeds of falcons.
Falcon auction
One of the key attractions is the falcon auction, expected to draw enthusiasts from the UAE and the wider Gulf region. The auction showcases some of the finest and rarest species, including peregrines, gyr-peregrines, gyr hybrids and pure gyr falcons.
The exhibition continues on Friday from 3pm to midnight, and on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 11pm. Alongside commercial displays, it includes educational workshops on animal care and treatment, making it a comprehensive destination combining trade, knowledge and traditional entertainment.
