Showcasing innovative practices
Within its dedicated pavilion at the congress, UoDH’s Student Guidance Centre will showcase a series of innovative initiatives and programmes designed to empower students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, while highlighting best practices that foster inclusive education. Visitors will also be invited to engage in interactive activities that emphasise the importance of integration and equitable learning opportunities.
Commitment to equal opportunities
Professor Dr Aisha Boushleibi, Chancellor of UoDH, stressed that the University’s participation in this global event reflects a firm commitment to building inclusive academic environments and ensuring equal opportunities for all learners. This vision, she noted, is inspired by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi’s aspiration to create a holistic knowledge-based society. She further explained that this engagement continues the University’s efforts in serving the community both locally and internationally, embodying its role as an active partner in supporting the rights and empowerment of people with disabilities through education.
Social responsibility
Boushleibi added that joining the congress marks a qualitative step forward, reaffirming that social responsibility forms an integral part of the University’s academic mission. She emphasised that inclusion and empowerment are essential to building a fairer and more accessible educational system.
Enhancing UoDH’s vision
Through this participation, UoDH consolidates its standing as an emerging academic institution with a clear strategic vision, dedicated to advancing academic excellence and addressing societal issues in line with national and international efforts in the fields of inclusion and empowerment.
