The meeting reviewed the latest preparations and arrangements for the launch of the new 2025–2026 sporting season, in addition to discussing a number of sporting, administrative, and cultural matters that reflect the club’s commitment to development and to strengthening its position on the local sporting scene.
During the meeting, held, on Tuesday, at the club headquarters, members discussed the intensive preparations of the football team, which recently concluded a successful training camp in Turkey. The team achieved positive results and showed steadily improving performances, reflecting the players’ readiness for a strong start to the upcoming season.
The meeting also addressed the formation of the handball team, alongside follow-ups on the status of other individual and team sports, with the aim of bolstering the club’s presence across a wide range of sporting competitions.
Attendees praised the ongoing cooperation with Al Khrous Suburb Council, particularly in joint programmes that focus on training local youth and honing their sporting skills. This partnership underscores the club’s community role in discovering and nurturing promising talent, thereby enriching its teams with outstanding young players.
The meeting concluded by underlining the importance of doubling efforts in the coming period to ensure the full readiness of all teams, while continuing to launch community and sporting initiatives that reinforce Al Dhaid Club’s standing as a beacon of sport and culture in the Central Region.

In his address, Chairman Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi affirmed that Al Dhaid Club is moving forward with confidence towards delivering an outstanding sporting season. He noted that the club’s continuous development of programmes and activities reflects its commitment to meeting the aspirations of the local community and strengthening Al Dhaid’s presence on the sporting stage.
He added that the club’s achievements across different sports are the result of close cooperation between all committees, technical staff, and administrative teams.
The Chairman further emphasised that the Board of Directors places top priority on supporting players and providing them with the ideal sporting environment, while also enhancing the recruitment of technical expertise and developing the club’s institutional work system. These efforts, he stressed, are in line with the ambitions of the Sharjah Sports Council and the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah to support the sporting and youth movement.
